Year 12 student Elizabeth Hoyle receives 2021 Dux award from Parkes High School

PARKES High School recently held their annual Year 12 graduation as the school leavers celebrated finishing what was a difficult year for many.

Elizabeth Hoyle was announced as the Parkes High School Dux at the dinner.

The Dux award is Parkes High School's most prestigious academic award.

It is awarded to the student who has achieved at an outstanding level of achievement in each of their subjects and has received the highest results in the Trial HSC.

Elizabeth achieved first place in all her subjects: English Advanced, English Extension 2, English Extension 1, Modern History and Music 2.

Elizabeth is the daughter of Arlene Cassel and Simon Hoyle - congratulations on an outstanding achievement, Elizabeth!

The MC's for the night were 2022 Captains, Amanda Lowe and Charlie Denham-Jones.

Students will receive their Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) on January 20, 2022, with their HSC results released on January 24.
