Gary McPhee and Brian Hampton shared the honours for the first 10 ends and the score was 11-10 in Gary's favour going into the 11th end.
After 18 ends, Gary was still only one shot ahead (19-18) but then gradually drew away and after 27 ends, won a place in the in the final, 31-21.
The final of the Minor Singles between Gary McPhee and Rob Irving was a hard fought match.
After 32 ends the scores were level, 28 all.
On the next end, Gary scored one shot to take the lead, but on the 34th end both players were playing some great bowls.
It was Rob, though, who scored three shots to win the match 31-29.
Congratulations to both players but in particular Rob Irving, the Club's Minor Singles Champion for 2021.

In Minor Pairs, the The Townsend brothers Brian and Greg had a good win against Trevor Harvey and Col Miller, 22-11.
In the Handicap Pairs, two matches were played.
George Boatswain and Ray Jones proved too strong for John Carr and Col Hayward 35-19, and in the other match Peter Bristol and Mark Dwyer advanced to the next round with a 36-13 win against Rob Tinker and Tony Reardon.
In the Mixed Pairs, Gwenda Carty and Col Hayward had a convincing win against Maria and David Willcoxson.
