In the facts tendered to court, Goolagong called the victim, who had been asleep, at around 2am, on Saturday July 10 to be picked up from a friend's house where he had been drinking.
The victim declined and hung up, however Goolagong called back around 10 minutes later stating he was being chased.
According to the facts, the victim reluctantly agreed to pick him up.
When the victim picked him up Goolagong was described as being argumentative, at one stage stating to the victim to crash the car into a power pole because he didn't care if he lived or died.
