No games went ahead in the Group 11 Lachlan District Junior Rugby League last Saturday as a precaution, given the current situation with COVID-19, which means the regular season is over and it is time for finals - depending on the coronavirus situation of course.

The under 14s JLT team are a group of girls to be very proud of. A lot of the newer girls have improved so much and are doing really well.
Grace MacGregor has taken out the Top Try Scorer and also Top Point Scorer for the Lachlan competition.
Grace Milne has come in third in Top Tries and fourth in Top Points.
We are hoping that lockdown is over soon so we can get stuck into finals. Go girls!

The u17s JLT side started training way back in February this year, and you could tell that they were going to have a good season going by the effort they were putting in at training.
The first games for the season were a gala day at Narromine where they trialled a few different combinations; but could see from then we were working with a talented team.
The side's first couple of competition games showed how well they could play, scoring plenty of tries but only letting in one.
Our only loss occurred early in the season, and although disappointing it made them work harder to improve themselves.
The girls scored a massive 386 points for the year, which were made up predominantly by the dangerous partnership of our five-eighth Jorja Simpson and fullback Elizabeth Macgregor.
These two contributed 55 of our tries scored this season, and were also first and second in the competition for tries scored
In the goalkicking stakes, of the 39 goals kicked for the year, Teagan Smede kicked 32.
We had 10 different point scorers which demonstrated our talent right across the park, and we also showed what great taggers we are, keeping teams to one try or less in seven games.
We have some very competitive players, ike Macy Morrison and Charli Robinson, who would sprint 60 metres to run a girl down and dive for a tag to stop them scoring - even if they were winning comfortably.
It's that effort that won us games.
We are so lucky to have so much talent to deal with in one team, that plus their electric attack and work ethic in defence made them the team to beat.
Amazing work girls!
