Due to the unfortunate ongoing issues with the resurfacing project, including the unprecedented wet weather, all points of contact have been moved to the lower clubhouse while the competitions have been spread across the weekday afternoons and evenings to cater for the numbers.
On a brighter note it was great to see a start to the Rally4Ever mental wellbeing program with some keen participants coming along and enjoying a hit, a few laughs and that very important human connectivity.
We look forward to seeing more people enjoying some socialisation through a hit of tennis on Thursday 1pm-2pm. It's free and there's racquets available.
The week in review saw Monday a hive of activity with HotShots, private lessons and the junior development squad all enjoying their interaction and learning.
Once they finished it was time for the ladies social doubles to commence with the ladies enjoying their 3 sets of laughs and exercise.
Shortly after on Mondays a new comp began with eight of the most competitive juniors taking to the court in a singles and doubles format.
These eight usually play in the adult night comp which isn't running this term, so continued match play is important for this group.
Last week there were overall wins to Lachlan Unger, Mitch Unger, Hayden Arndell and Poppy Fisher.
They are playing one hour of singles then a further set of doubles each week.

Tuesday afternoon is a condensed junior competition. Round 1 was squeezed in before the sudden downpour of rain.

- Division 5: Anna Davis 10 games; Lachy Orr 9 games
Thanks to Elena Glastonbury and Poppy Fisher who will be helping out the Division 5 matches.
