About 7.05am on Thursday, July 22, police stopped a vehicle for its driver to undertake a breath test.
The driver, a 53-year-old from Sydney could not produce a drivers licence.
Checks revealed he was disqualified from driving until 2056.
He was breath tested and returned a positive reading.
A breath analysis at Parkes Police Station returned a reading in the special range.
WHAT ELSE IS MAKING NEWS:
The driver was charged and refused bail to appear before Parkes Local Court on the same day due to ongoing and similar offences.
It was deemed the driver had complied with the Public Health Order and had produced negative COVID tests.
In other news Police are appealing for public assistance to locate Jamie Maxwell, 21 years old, wanted by virtue of an arrest warrant.
He is wanted in relation to an alleged armed with intent to commit indictable offence, contravene prohibition/restriction in AVO (domestic), and stalk/intimidate.
