The girls played a tough game against Forbes just coming away with the win.
It was a slow start between both teams before Parkes found some momentum with Charli Milne finding a gap in the defence to run over the line and score with Piper White converting the goal.
A great kick from Miley Duff saw Forbes knock the ball on and a quick play of the ball by Emma Hando helped Charli Milne scoot from dummy half to score her second try.
Kasey Morgan, Miley Nash and Piper White were fantastic in defence, helping the team keep Forbes' score to a minimum, while Ayesha Carruthers and Sharla Parker-Lee made some strong runs throughout the day, keeping the ball down near the opposition's end.
The final score was 10-8 and players player was awarded to Ayesha Carruthers.

McPhersons Under 7s
The boys played two games at home against Forbes last Saturday.
Our Under 7s continue to improve and found Forbes to be a much tougher opposition this time around. There is a real team spirit amongst this group of boys and they should be proud of their effort and attitude.
Damon Woods made some great tackles and is getting more confident with his running.
All of the boys had very good involvements on the weekend, but Lebron Murray and Nate Calabro were our standouts this week. Nate made some great efforts in defence as well as scoring four scorching tries.
The under 10s were short players, so Bill O'Bryan, Saxon and Oscar Gosper stepped up to make sure they could field a side. Well done boys, a great club effort.
Under 10's
Won their first game 46-6. Lost their second game 4-38.
WHAT ELSE IS MAKING WAVES IN SPORT:
K and H Earthmoving Under 12's
This week saw a top of the table clash with the side having the pleasure of hosting Forbes on the weekend at Spicer Oval. Parkes got to kick off first, with good defence from Kallum Munday, Sean Guilthorp, Kasey Eshman, Jett Clarke with George Thomas leading the way.
They slogged away for the first seven mins, Parkes and Forbes not giving an inch and field position was kept within 20m.
Forbes were first to steal the points but from the tap, the K and H boys were looking to hit back and that's what they did.
An eyes-up dummy half run from Hudson McGuire got the points, with conversion successfully made by Kallum Munday.
Forbes was determined to match Parkes play for play and point for point and they hit back within minutes and took the lead back 10-6.
The K and H Earthmoving team has been building confidence all year and learning how to not to put their heads down when it's a tough day.
Always leading the way is Jaylin Moran and his determination saw him grab a try right on half time, the conversation was successful by him. The team took back the lead 12-10.
A change of sides and away the battle went again, with both teams determined as ever, but the Parkes boys were first to put points on the board in the second half with Jaylin Moran scoring out wide.
As in the first half, Forbes came out and hit back with solid attacking which saw them grab the points and convert to level the scores. The game had been a back-and-forth battle, tackle for tackle, point for point, again with Forbes like the first time we met.
Parkes had been working well in defending the Forbes team and an awesome attacking run from Leo Monkerud put the team right back in great field position. Two plays later Leo went over the line and with six minutes to go Parkes took the lead back 20-16.
As it had been done all day, Forbes was determined not to let the Parkes boys beat them again this year, they set about trying to level the score themselves which they did, locking up the score again in the dying minutes 20-all.
Parkes had one more set and a chance to hit back but the clock beat them this week and the final score was a tie!
Awesome footy boys, great spirit and sportsmanship. We are all extremely proud of the way you have been conducting yourselves this year on and off the field.
Sportspower/MP Homes and Design Under 14's

Brian Collins Smash Repairs/Agriwest Under 16's
Hard defence by the Under 16's from the kick off last Saturday led to a mistake by Forbes and Ollie Thomas scored for Parkes in the first set. The kick was unsuccessful, taking the score to 4-nil.
A penalty to Forbes led to pressure in Parkes' own half but Parkes defended well to stop a try.
Joe Monk and Charlie Mahon ran with strength to get Parkes back into an attacking position and good play by Bob McEwen led to a break by Reece James, but good defence by Forbes prevented a try.
Malakai Folau then scored a fantastic try from the 20 metre restart, with the conversion was successful by Marley Moran.
Some tough defence by both teams continued until Reece James scored in the corner.
Silly penalties gave Forbes good field position but due to great defence by Parkes, Forbes couldn't score. Bob McEwen scooted from dummy half but was held up over the line, but in the next set Malakai Folau scored his second try of the game and took the half time score to 18-nil.
Strong attack by Forbes led to a try under the posts in the first fives mins of the second half before they scored quickly again with a great break down their left-hand side taking the score to Parkes 18-12, Parkes' way.
Charlie Mahon then made great metres which led to Joe Monk scoring on the left-hand post, with the conversion successful by Marley Moran, taking the score to 24-12.
Forbes then scored in the left corner taking the score to 24-16, but a great run by Caleb Wirth resulted in him scoring with five minutes remaining, with Parkes walking away with the win 28-16.
A big thank you to the Thomas family for their efforts on Saturday in difficult circumstances. Sending condolences, we are lost without you.
