Police stopped the 34-year-old man in Clarinda Street at 12pm Sunday.
He returned a positive roadside test result and was returned to Parkes police station for breath analysis before being charged.
He's been issued with a court attendance notice.
Refuse drug test: A 29-year-old Parkes man has been charged after refusing to cooperate with a roadside drug test.
Police said they stopped the driver in Hooley Street at 12.40am Monday, and he refused the test.
He was arrested and taken to Parkes Police Station, where he also refused secondary testing.
The man was issued with a 24-hour prohibition order preventing him from driving, and will face court in relation to failing to provide oral fluid samples for drug testing.
Malicious damage: Damage to fuses and an electrical switchboard has been reported at a Welcome Street premises.
Police say the damage has occurred between 6am Thursday and 5pm Saturday, and they're appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
Missing purse: A woman's purse has been lost, possibly in the vicinity of the BP service station on Clarinda Street.
Anyone who finds it is urged to hand it in at Parkes police station so they can return it to the owner.
