Under 7s
Condobolin are not fielding an under 7s this season so we played a match against ourselves. It was probably the best hit out of the year. Most games we score early in our tackle count, but this week some of our regular try scorers found it more difficult to cross the line. The tries scored were all very well deserved and highlighted our improving defence.
Coaches award this week went to Seth Toomey, with Rhys Hetherington and Roy Clyburn getting the players award.
Under 8s
French Taste Bakery Under 8's had a great game against Condobolin last Saturday. All of the boys played awesome, Mathew Usher was the first try scorer for the day. Keanu Robinson used his fantastic stepping skills to score the next try. We had some great tackling by Toby Woods, followed with some awesome runs by Beau Thompson and Jaxon Ross. Our final try for the day was from Koen Parker-Lee. Great game boys, keep up the good work.
Under 10s
The Andrew Thomas Building Under 10s found themselves on the back foot after not gathering the ball from the kick off with Condo capitalizing soon after. However it wasn't long before the boys found some rhythm of their own. They played well and continue to improve each week. They were dangerous in attack and strong in defense. The game was an evenly matched battle, supported by the scoreboard with the score locked at 26-26 with seven minutes remaining. Carter Moran continued to dominate, chalking up his fourth four pointer which was successfully converted. Condo would again score with the score at 34-32 for the final two minutes of the game.
Parkes were happy to claim their first home game win of the season. Carter Moran dominated in attack with four convincing tries. Taj Harrison made the opposition work with his confident hit up rate and Billy White topped the tackle count with his tireless defense.
Try scorers for the game: Carter Moran (4), Jacob Gosper (1), Jamison Lee (1) and conversions by Carter, Jamison, Taj, Oliver Monkerud and Tyson Gustowski.
Under 12s
This season Condobolin has two sides in the Under 12's ,with the K & Hearthmoving U12s taking on Condo Yellow at 9:50. The Rams are always a challenging team and the match saw Condo get away with the first points in the opening minutes. Sean Guilthorp had different plans from the getgo and soon levelled the scoring going over out wide. Parkes was looking fantastic in defence again this week with Kallum Munday leading the tackle count and Byron Tanswell proving he can play any position on the field at fullback directing K&H Earthmoving team around. After halftime the yellow and pink vests were changed and Tyrese Robinson was in charge of the middle at first receiver and had the ball runners organised and Sean Guilthorp was able to pick up two more tries. This week saw outstanding defence again from Jayden Kunn, Tyrece Robinson, Kallum Munday and Mason Oram
Tries to Sean Guilthorp 3, Jett clarke, Jayden kunn and conversions to Hudson McGuire and Kallum Munday.
The whole team this week had an outstanding game. Parkes took the win finishing 24-8. The first game was done and dusted!
Second Game
Condo Blue were up next at 12:45. From all reports they knew this was going to be a bit more challenging but once again Parkes boys didn't let this phase them and headed out with a fresh batch of jerseys, proudly sponsored by Central West Fluid Power. The weather was getting better and so did the defence from the CWFP boys, everyone had a great game in attack and Condo definitely was a different team in second match but a determined Jaylin Moran showed leadership and skills that Condo couldn't control. The CWFP team was working hard at times controlling Condos out wide ball movement and their forwards running in pairs. However the hours of training that the boys have been doing this year proved to be worth it and the boys were constantly shutting Condo down.
Tries to Parkes came from Leo Monkerud x 2, George Thomas and Jaylin Moran x 4. Conversions were successful by Hudson McGuire and Jaylin Moran. Final score was 32-10 with Parkes taking the win.

Under 16s
Brian Collins Smash Repairs Under 16s found some tough competition on the field last Saturday when they played Condobolin. Lots of scrappy football saw Parkes make many ball errors. Condobolin were first to put the points on the board with an unsuccessful conversion. More ball errors seem to have Parkes constantly defending their try line. Rhys James made some try saving tackles with Kane Coulstan outstanding in defence. Daniel Hando, fresh on the field, supported Joe Monk, Caleb Wirth, Jack Jessep and Dustin James in defence. Although Parkes would gain possession and strong runs by Mac Rauchle, Kaid Lydford, Charlie Mahon and Malakai Folau saw the boys move closer to the line, ball errors saw Parkes lose possession time and time again. Half-time score saw Condobolin in the lead 4-nil.
Second half didn't see a deflated Parkes side and after a chat by the coach, the boys were keen to even the score. Toby Cox was a jack-of-all trades in this game, playing a few positions. Bob Mc Ewen was consistent in directing the teams play. Ball passing and strong runs from Tye Toomey, Jay Arrow, and Charlie Mahon saw Parkes tackled short of the line. Caleb Wirth managed to find a spot he could force himself over to score. Conversion was successful giving Parkes the lead 6-4. Both teams fought hard to keep possession. Jake Herring nearly pulled off an intercept however managed to gain possession for Parkes. Jimmy Osborne and Mason Leedham made good ground with Malakai Folau driving the ball over the line for Parkes. Parkes had the lead 10-4, but it was still anyone's game. Tye Toomey finished the next set with a try, taking the score to 14 - 4. The final score ended up Parkes 14 - Condobolin 8.
