The girls and boys involved from 4 to 13 years have had a great term of learning in a respectful and engaging environment.
This is Week 8 for all HotShots groups except Thursdays as it rained last week and we couldn't use the Clubhouse.
With the pending wet week ahead, please check the Parkes Tennis Facebook page for updates if the weather is inclement from 2.30pm daily.
All squads finished yesterday and private lessons finish at different times so please check finish dates with your coach.

THANK YOU
Parkes Tennis is very appreciative to Northparkes Mines and Parkes Shire Sports Council for their support towards 12 nets for the new net posts on the upgraded courts.
Six have been completed and the nets and the tournament level posts look very professional.
The tennis committee are thankful for the opportunity to apply for a grant through the Northparkes Community Sports program.

NSW COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS
The NSW Country Championships at Forster is the biggest tournament on the NSW calendar.
The Open events start June 25 - 28 and the juniors start June 28 - July 2.
Players may enter two singles, one doubles and one mixed doubles event.
Only players from country areas of NSW are eligible to play.
All 10 and under events are round robin, and there are both even and odd age divisions to play in from under 11's through to 17's.
All Parkes juniors who travel to the JUS tournaments are encouraged to enter. Forster is a wonderful venue for tennis, and for a holiday, so why not combine the both!
A warm-up session is on Sunday morning followed by a huge welcome party for players on Sunday June 27 at the Ten Pin bowling club, run in two sessions.
There is also a 9/u parent and child event and an 8/u orange ball event for siblings to have some fun.
Entries close Friday, June 18. For more information on the tournaments, head to www.tournaments.tennis.com.au
