What is it that you are questioning?
What is the evidence for belief?
When it comes to Christianity, belief is often under the spotlight and people are often wondering what it is that makes Christians believe in something that could just be classed as myth.
But according to the Reverend Kevin Simington, myth is exactly what Christianity isn't.
On Wednesday, June 9, Kevin will be speaking at St George's Anglican Church, starting at 7:15 pm.
Through a short seminar, 'Rev Kev,' as he has become known in the Anglican community, will guide participants through what it means to be Christian and why we have hope in the promises made by God in the Bible.
He will show how there are pointers to the existence of God and truth in his word through world history and will discuss how this relates to science.
Kevin has written several books about the evidence for faith, his most recent being No More Monkey Business which is an up-to-date critique of the theory of evolutions.
It examines the scientific evidence that now directly contradicts the theory of evolution, and documents how a growing number of leading scientists are seeking alternatives.
Having spoken on this topic on numerous occasions to vastly different audiences, Kevin is renowned for his straightforward approach to difficult questions as he seeks to promote the Gospel of Jesus.
Kevin's previous seminar on suffering was well attended by a vast cross-section of the Parkes community and was well received.
On weekends all through June Kevin will be leading a sermon series on 'Mission: God's Purpose for His Church.'
Excitingly, on June 19 Karen Durand will perform in St George's Anglican Church at 7 pm - which will be a performance not to be missed!
