Paul Drabsch from the Central West Car Club has owned over 10 Harley Davidson motorbikes over his life so far and he even admits to owning a few of them more than once after buying them back, so it's no surprise to see him once again roaming the roads on his latest Harley.

"This is a 1988 Harley Davidson Heritage; I was looking for a Heritage that I could eventually put on club plates and this one fit the bill perfectly," said Paul.
"Being over 30 years old, it's eligible for historic registration now."
There's no doubt that the Heritage is a stand-out bike already with its two tone paint, large fenders and white wall tyres plus plenty of chrome, but as Paul puts it, his was "full of fruit" when he bought it.
It's been accessorised with even more chrome and detailing, like the twisted spokes and etch work, along with upgraded brakes, twin spotlights and a custom seat.
"The host of extras was certainly a deal breaker and the custom seat definitely added to the reason I got it.
"I sold my Shovelhead because it was just a bit more rigid and harder to handle and the Heritage is a much more comfortable ride," said Paul.
Harley Davidson is easily one of the most recognisable and iconic motorcycle makes, and since its beginnings in 1903 the USA manufacturer has been building motorbikes in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and now throughout the world.
Paul's Harley Heritage features the Evolution V Twin engine.
"At 1340 cc (80 cubic inch) it was the biggest motor you could get in the 80's and 90's," Paul said.
There's a 5 speed transmission and belt drive to the softail rear end.
And fortunately for Paul, his bike was good to go straight away.
"Nothing needs doing on this bike; the original paint is still in great nick and it's a fantastic bike for just cruising."

The club meets on the first Wednesday of each month at Parkes Leagues Club and welcomes guests or you can often find members out and about at the Friday night street meets held on the second Friday of each month at the outdoor Coles car park in Parkes.
