The men were charged with a string of offences on Wednesday night, following their arrest earlier in the day.

During the crime spree, police will allege a 35-year-old man was stabbed and had his car stolen, during an aggravated break, enter and steal in Macquarie Street, West Bathurst.

He suffered two stab wounds to the leg and underwent surgery. The vehicle was later found burnt out.

Hours later, a 52-year-old man asleep in his car in Stephens Lane was allegedly assaulted and robbed.

One of the men allegedly smashed a CCTV camera at the house with a large paling stake.

Police attempted to arrest the 24-year-old man before he allegedly threw the paling stake at the officers, narrowly missing them. The man fled in a vehicle with the other males.

About 7.45am, police attended an address in Bannerman Crescent, Kelso, and arrested the 24-year-old man.

Upon sighting police, a 25-year-old man attempted to avoid police by jumping over a fence but was arrested after a short foot pursuit.

A 32-year-old man was arrested at the scene without incident.

The fourth man, aged 27 from Parkes, was arrested at West Bathurst, shortly before 1pm.
