Free practical load restraint information sessions are about to be held in 12 villages across the Parkes, Forbes and Lachlan Shire Council areas to ensure residents are tying their loads right and safely.
The sessions will provide information about the fundamentals of load restraint, legal requirements as well as tips to safely restrain hay bales, machinery and general freight.
"These information sessions are a great way to brush up on your load restraint knowledge, network with other attendees and you could win an Engel Thermo15 worth $190," she said.
"We are running two sessions each day - one at breakfast and one at lunch and will provide a free barbecue.
