The Men's Heath Education Rotary Van is a Rotary project made possible by fundraising, generous sponsorships and time freely given by hundreds of Rotary volunteers.
A custom built caravan with a dedicated Registered Nurse travels the state of New South Wales offering free health screenings to regional and rural men,
The health checks include looking at blood pressure, blood sugar levels and cholesterol.
The organisation's website explains that many men don't get into the habit of seeing a doctor regularly, so conditions like high blood pressure, high cholesterol and high blood sugar which have little or no apparent early symptoms can develop with serious consequences.

mherv will be in Parkes on Saturday and Sunday, May 15 and 16, at the Parkes Shire Council car park in Welcome Street, next to the post office, from 9am to 5pm.
mherv has saved hundreds of men's lives in regional Australia and Parkes Rotary Club president Mark Ritchie said if you can't remember the last time you had a check-up, now's the time to visit the van.
"All men over 40 years of age should be tested annually or at least every two years," he said. "These men need to get into a routine of getting checked."
