Parkes have moved to top of the ladder in the Western Masters League competition after their third win in as many rounds on Sunday defeating Mudgee 7-0.

Parkes hosted all three matches of the league on Sunday in glorious sunny conditions.
Parkes played an excellent team game and created great opportunities in the circle throughout the match.
Striker, Janelle Thompson was in great touch in the circle and was on hand to convert three goals for Parkes, midfielder Tracey Chambers scored a double with Mandy Westcott and Teegan Rodgers adding a goal apiece.
Maureen Massey played in goals for Mudgee and made a mountain of impressive saves throughout the match.
She was well supported by Mudgee defender, Leanne Miles (Parkes) who stepped up to give Mudgee a hand on the day.
There were many strong performances on the pitch for Parkes with Teegan Rodgers doing a mile of running up front and Mandy Westcott involving herself heavily in the midfield.
Best and Fairest points were awarded to Janelle Thompson and Teegan Rodgers with Maureen Massey picking up the points for Lithgow.
Player's player was awarded to Mandy Westcott.

Women's
Souths had a 3-2 win against Parkes United on the weekend.
Souths got out to a 3-1 lead before Parkes United got themselves back within striking distance with a third quarter goal.
But a gritty defensive effort across the entirety of the fourth quarter from the two blues got them the points they badly craved after recent losses.
