A nine horse field, with Parkes runner Moreartsthanclass the emergency will contest the final, and a quick look at the field sees every runner in form and capable of taking home the chocolates.
Forbes trainer Adam Bellach scored the gun draw in Barrier 1 with Rocknroll Ranger, and five races into his career the gelding has two minor placing from his past two, after winning on debut in Bathurst over 1730 metres.
Angela Hedges has been in the gig for all five of his starts, and was just 2.8m behind the $1.35 favourite, Great Presence, in last week's heat.
He'll need to be at his best to keep out Great Presence, who has drawn well in 2 for Dubbo Barry Lew, while the Nathan Turnbull-trained Falcons is gunning for four in a row since switching to the stable from South Australia.
You be brave to say it won't be a blanket finish in the final.

Outside of that, the most intriguing race of the evening looks to be the Parkes Furniture One Pace, where Alectown trainer Stan Townsend has once again secured a nice inside barrier for Good Cop.
The Art Major gelding, who won convincing here in Parkes from the inside on March 28, is a model of consistency and Townsend was typically succinct when asked what his chances were.
"He's absolutely flying," he said.
Since then he was a little off the pace in slowly run races in Dubbo and Parkes, but with the gun draw and son Nathan in the gig, there will be plenty of punter on-course who will be cheering the brown and white silks home.
Bellach has Carlas Angel running in the 1600m Langlands Hanlon Pace, and with two wins and a second from her last five runs the mare is a hot chance in a very strong field.
The field is bookended by a new addition to the Parkes stable of David Harris, the very experienced Our Leo, and the 'Fluro Flash' Bruhaha, who absolutely flies on the Parkes track for Nathan Turnbull.
The punters friend, Cuzin Pat, who has won at $23 and $34 in recent times, is one of six local hopes in the Telescope Tyres Pace, and with three talented Parkes concession drivers on show, eyes won't just be on the horses.
Laura Rusten, William Cassell and Blake Medlyn are all piloting very live hopes alongside another exceptionally talented concession driver, Phoebe Betts, and a boxed Parkes exotic here might just be the most popular of the day.
The evening will finish with a HRNSW 2YO Guaranteed Pace that has six starters, five of whom have already seen the arms fold back in competitive races.
Chris Frisby's Our Aunty Ash will be of particular intrigue in that race, and the Pet Rock x Spare the Price filly could go on to bigger and better things after a win here.
Get down and enjoy an idyllic Parkes evening.
