With the season's awards to be handed out on presentation evening on April 24, not many of the results can be disclosed, however, there were some excellent swims during the afternoon.
Parkes club members have also been performing well in state-level carnivals, with just last week William Ellis, Chelsea Day, Samuel Quince, and Walter Smeaton participating in the Christian School Sports Association Carnival in Sydney.
All swam personal best times during the day representing Parkes Christian School.
Quinn Kriedemann and Khan Jackson competed at the NSW Primary Schools All Schools carnival in Sydney, both swimming personal best times in the breaststroke.
Hunter Kriedeman swam at the NSW State Age Championships on Saturday, March 27 at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre.
He swam the same fast time in his breaststroke event that sent him there after qualifying at the Mountains and Plains Carnival earlier this year.
And swimming for some will continue after the school holidays with the new State Swim League featuring team match-ups across the Central West, and of course the pinnacle for secondary school swimming, the NSW Combined High Schools Championships.
Swimming is a fun sport and activity, as well as being a life skill.
Before next spring, think about the wonderful, enjoyable ways you can spend in the pool having fun safely, then join us at the Parkes Sharks.
