After winning the toss and electing to bat first, Cowra Bowling Club had to contend with some top-class line and length bowling from the seasoned Cats campaigners in Clinton Hawke, who conceded just seven runs from his seven overs, and Shane Jones (2/27).
Even Bowling Club's top player Michael Curtale (18) was restricted by this fine bowling, eventually being dismissed courtesy of a brilliant catch by Billy Porter off Jones.
Batting at first drop, Tom Thanx (30) played a defiant role to top score with 30 runs, with John Clarke (21) the only major contributor as the side scratched their way to just 115 all out.
In support of the tight combination of Jones and Hawke; Anthony Heraghty (3/21), Harry Bayliss (2/17) and Hunter Hawke (1/14) were particularly stingy and strong contributors to keep Bowling Club to a very low total.

In reply, the Cats never looked in trouble with Mitch Cambourn (56*) and the aggressive Anthony Riach (13) adopting a very positive approach to scoring runs.
Cambourn, who began the season in top form but has since suffered a form slump, really proved he is a fine player as he slammed five boundaries and three sixes in his entertaining half century to expedite a Cats victory.
Heraghty (20), with all but two of his runs coming in boundaries and sixes, and Zac Bayliss (27*) provided valuable support to Cambourn and ensured their grand final spot was never in doubt, with the side eventually cruising to a seven wicket win.
