Dziuba has rarely been out of the money this year and on his home course compiled a tidy 25 points to win by one from Forbes' Barry Shine, who took the runners-up prize on a count back from Peter Bristol, Parkes. To add to his bounty, Dziuba also won the nearest-the-pin on the fourth hole, while Tony Cogswell from Forbes was the closest on the 11th hole.
Thirty players faced the starter with Parkes taking the honors in the Mick Miller Shield 139 - 35.
The ball sweep went to 21 points with the winners as follows: 24 points - Peter Bristol (P); 23 - Graham Cooke and Sunna Bell (P); Kim Herbert, Les Little and Tony Cogswell (F); 22 - Rob Lea and Tom Delmenico (P); 21- Mick Bond and Dub Rodgers (P); Barry Parker and John Whatmore (F).
Kath Kelly of Parkes won the encouragement award on a count back from Brian Clarke of Forbes.
Forbes will host next week's twin-towns event and on March 18 the next round of the Lachlan Valley veterans 18 hole event will be played in Parkes.

Tottenham Picnic Races
Most bookmakers were off to a losing start when the Wagga Wagga-trained trained Sam ($10) won the 800 metre Michael Logan Memorial Class 3 Handicap in a very close finish.
Backed from $18 to $10, Sam moved up three wide rounding the home turn and wore down Policy ($1.90f) to win by a short half head with over four lengths to Creative Moss ($5).
A crowd of over 1000 was trackside to see $10 chance Regina Margherita win the 1400m Robinson Grain Tottenham Picnic Cup for Dubbo's Connie Greig.
Brazilian born jockey Leandro Ribeiro settled Regina Margherita ($10) near the tail of the field before steadily making ground to have his mount poised to challenge at the top of the straight.
Regina Margherita wore down Waldo Waldorf ($9) to score by three quarters of a length, with Raise A Drop ($11) finishing third.
Ribeiro was also aboard the Darren Egan-trained Addictions ($3.60), which led for home then cleared out for a six length win over Little Zipper ($11) and Cheselbeach ($2.50f) in the 1000m Tottenham Hotel Maiden Plate.
Purchased for the bargain basement $600, Simcha ($4) continues to race well for Parkes based owner-trainer Sharon Jeffries, and with the experienced Wayne Wheatley in the saddle led throughout to win the 1200m Local Businesses Class 2 Handicap by over four lengths from Rosesay ($11) and On A Promise ($2.40f).
Jeffries had been disappointed with the efforts of Simcha last start in Bedgerabong, but gave the seven-year-old gelding another chance, given he didn't seem to handle the dirt getting kicked in his face and her patience was rewarded as he was win for the first time since June 1, 2020 in Dubbo.
Recovered from a big night of celebrations following his record breaking five wins at the Dubbo TAB meeting, it was back to business on Saturday for trainer Clint Lundholm when he won the final event with My Beau at the Tottenham Picnic Races.
Given a nice run behind the leaders by Maddison Wright, My Beau then fought hard to get past Work And Chat ($11) and win by a half length with a short half head to Dizzy Dylan ($4) in third place.
Parkes Golf Club (PGC) report
Saturday saw the awarding of the Telescope Tyres & Batteries/Hankook Masters Monthly Medal sponsored by Brian Collins Smash Repairs and Parkes Caravan Centre.
Our thanks to the sponsors, and good to see some visitors in the strong 89 men's field this week. Also good to note that the lady golfers are back in full swing with the opening of their season last Wednesday.
In A-grade the four lowest scores in the scratch went to visitors out testing our top golfers, but Riall Harrison came in with a 3 over par 74 to take out the prestigious monthly medal prize.
Riall has been a member of our Number 1 pennants side this year and no doubt the extra competition, and playing other local challenging courses, is strengthening his game. Riall was a clear 5 strokes head of his pennant's teammate Aaron Wilkie in the scratch stakes, while Bernard King showed some form to take out the nett score on the day.
The daily conditions must have been tougher than they looked with only Riall and Aaron of the local contenders shooting in the 70's this week. It was also Good to see Peter Magill getting to some form prior to all the Matchplay and Club Championships kicking off.
In B Grade Robert 'The Baron' Cheney fired a great 82 off the stick to take out both the scratch and nett, 68, events in style. Robert has been struggling to get consistency and confidence in the new sticks he has been using, but after Saturday that does not look like an ongoing problem. The added benefit has been that Robert has been putting a lot of time helping at the course so maybe the golfing gods paid back some on Saturday!
The B grade competition was hotly contested in both scratch and nett and there were some great rounds recorded. Some of the B grade golfers to watch over the next few weeks will be Ron Hetherington, Troy Thomson and the ever-improving Rob Lea.
In C grade once again, there was a standout on the day with Brendon Simpson coming in with a very hot 88 off the stick and a 67 nett to match. Jack Creith, just starting out on his PGC golfing odyssey, shot an equalling 67 but was beaten on a countback.
Brendon has been putting some really good cards together of late, and like Rob Cheney he will be facing the starter with a stroke less to play with next week.
Ben Thomson, who has been hitting the ball consistently, was one back on 68, but for the scratch score there was no one in sight behind Brendon as he works on that handicap reduction.
In the Wally Normal medal, Robert Lea came up trumps this month, recording a 72 nett which was unbeatable on the day.
In the Griffins Leading Edge Putting competition, Aaron Wilkie was on target recording the 25 putts needed to win this month's prize.

In other golfing news, the PGC hosted a round of the CWDGA 2021 Pennants on Sunday.
With the wind up and the course foreign to a lot of the players, a number struggled on the day but all left having had the great experience PGC offers. Thanks to all the staff and supporters that helped on the day.
Our pennants teams had a mixed day at Wellington on Sunday.
Our 4's got maximum points as they received a forfeit on Saturday night while the 1's had a great win over the strong and full-strength Forbes side. The 2's and 3's unfortunately both went down 3 - 2 to the powerful Dubbo combinations.
This week there is an 18 hole two person aggregate Stableford event.
