Like many organisations, the group has had difficulty with special events, but are now pleased to announce that arrangements have been made, with a few changes, to again stage the awards in the Cowra Regional Art Gallery.
Dates set down for the exhibition are Thursday, May 20 to Saturday, June 12, with a possible opening night on Wednesday, May 19 depending on COVID restrictions at the time.
Entry forms to artists within 100km radius of Cowra, including Parkes, are being distributed, with entries closing on Friday, April 30.
The group is calling on and encouraging artists from across the region to take the opportunity to enter and have their work displayed in a regional gallery.
The major prize is $4000, plus the Barbara Bennett Memorial People's Choice award of $1000 to be decided by popular vote over the course of the exhibition.
Entry forms and information can be posted or emailed by contacting the coordinator by phone on 0498 249 580 or email p.mlindsay@bigpond.com.
