Led by president Andy Thomas, an army of hard working volunteers ensured the 2020 season was not lost to the pandemic, and if the energy at Friday night's launch is anything to go by the club is destined for bigger and better things in 2021.
"It was quite interesting, we saw a lot of new faces to go with the usual families that are involved and I was pleasantly surprised," said Thomas.
When asked what had led to the increase in numbers, Thomas couldn't pinpoint exactly the reason but he pointed to the culture of the club.
"Our zero tolerance policy has really changed the dynamics of the club, and we've also put a lot of effort into teaching players, particularly the younger ones, correct techniques such as tackling methods, which the parents have all really appreciated."

Thomas was very pleased with the registration numbers ahead of Round 1, which is on May 1.
"There were about 60 registered before the launch, and there was least 80 - 100 on the night which shows how strong the club is."
"We are still looking for numbers for the under 8's girls tag - but it's always important to note regardless we never turn anyone away; we don't cap teams - we manage them so we have as many boys and girls as possible playing rugby league.
Thomas was also quick to praise those who work tirelessly behind the scenes who ensure the continuing success of the club both on and off the field.
"It really is a club effort, lots of people chip in to help and a lot of them are long term volunteers, so the succession plan is doing very well to ensure the club is in good hands for the years to come."
Training for all teams begin this week, with tackle gala days to take place on March 28 (Orange) and April 24 (Forbes) while there is a tag gala day in Narromine on March 28.
The club will be returning to the Lachlan league this season after COVID-19 forced a move to the Dubbo competition - and Thomas is particularly pleased for the parents as it will cut down on travel time significantly.
"I don't anticipate the move back to Lachlan changing the standard of play at all; but it will mean parents aren't driving anywhere near as far as 2020 - and that in turn will hopefully ensure more boys and girls stay involved in the club and rugby league in general," said Thomas.
