It's International Women's Day on Monday, March 8 and in celebration, Parkes Shire Council is hosting a morning of free activities.

Council is inviting the community to join in on a range of social group activities led by local women and "discover how some of our local women lead".

The theme celebrates the tremendous efforts by women and girls around the world in shaping a more equal future and recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

There is something for everyone in Parkes - start your day with coffee and a chat, followed by a pliates class, story time, morning tea and a yoga class.
