Planning for the premier event of the Parkes and District social calendar, the Parkes Picnic Races, is well underway.

The Parkes Coradgery and Diggers Picnic Races are scheduled for Saturday June 12.

The outbreak of COVID-19 has created numerous challenges for our community, families, and businesses, and we feel it is important that this important community event goes ahead.

Organisers are planning a fully compliant COVID-19 event.

We would like to thank all the patrons and generous sponsors for their support in the past and reassure all community members that the Parkes Picnic races will be bigger and better than ever this year.

The spectator area is in great condition and the venue is now one of the best in the Central West.
