The weather was great, and the efforts and behaviour of the children was even better!
This year saw the addition of 25m events in freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke and butterfly.
The students embraced the new events with gusto and we saw impressive participation in all the new events.
The participation in all events went towards the Standen shield and the total points showed the impressive attitude towards 'having a go', their encouragement of others and their impressive sportsmanship.
Our sincere thanks to our wonderful parent helpers for their assistance on the day, without whom our carnival would not be able to run.
Congratulations on the efforts of all students on the day!

Twenty of Middleton's finest swimmers converged on Condobolin on February 25, to compete in the 2021 Lachlan PSSA Swimming Championships.
Students across all age levels competed against a high calibre of swimmers from across the district.
The hours of preparation showed as many athletes achieved PBs and selection in Lachlan squad to compete in the Western Swimming championships.
Middleton represented their school, displaying exemplary behaviour and impressive sportsmanship.
Many thanks to our ever supportive families for getting the students to Condobolin for the championships, and a special thank you to Grant Skinner who spent the day timing on behalf of Middleton.
