OIC of Parkes Police Chief Inspector Scott Rayner has urged the Parkes Community to ensure that they lock and secure their vehicle and ensure where possible that valuables are removed from them.
"For each of the Larceny charges laid, Police allege that the offenders have entered and stolen from vehicles that were left unlocked."
"In this instance securing vehicles and valuables would have been a sufficient deterrent to these offenders.
The message NSW Police would like to convey to the community is to make it as difficult as possible for to property offenders to commit their crimes."
