In previous years a birthday party usually held on Elvis' birthday during the Elvis Festival, be it before the festival officially begins or during the event.
It used to be held at Elvis Central but in the last few years had been moved to Cooke Park where it has attracted bigger and bigger crowds each year.
Keeping with tradition, this year the Steels decided to invite some friends to their home in High Street to acknowledge and celebrate what would have been Elvis Presley's 86th birthday.
And like in previous year, usually someone who shares his birthday is asked to cut the cake - that being Mary Fanello this year.
The Parkes Champion Post was asked to come along to take some photos of the occasion.
Others in the town still wanted to get into the spirit of the festival too and dressed up during 'Elvis Week', while the Parkes Elvis Festival organisers hosted a special online series because they didn't want fans to entirely miss out in 2021.
