It really is beginning to look like Christmas in Parkes' CBD, with families decorating their homes with Christmas lights and decorations, and businesses doing the same to their shopfronts.

We've spotted some spectacular displays, creatively put together by businesses and we couldn't go past the one at Terry Bros Carpet Court Parkes in Church Street.
With a life-size reindeer and sleigh greeting customers as they walk in, the display includes an enormous winter wonderland fabric backdrop, a giant toy soldier and candy cane, a Santa and lamp post statue and a Christmas tree.
There's also a snow-covered post box where children are invited to write their letters to Santa and post them there.
It's all set upon white rugs that replicate snow.
And what's even better - people are welcome to climb aboard the red sleigh to take a photo.
Terry Bros has been doing Christmas displays for a few years now but employee Jesse Trumble said it's getting bigger each year.
"The backdrop and the rugs are new, and we have two new other pieces," he said.
"We also sell all of it so we can order these in for customers."
It's all to bring a bit of Christmas spirit to the store and to draw people in.
"We just love Christmas!" Fellow employee Chloe Bryant said.
"And we've converted Ben (Terry) from a Grinch into a Christmas man!" She laughed.
Be sure to check out Terry Bros' display and many others in the CBD. There are also many homes decorated with Christmas lights, which we'll be featuring a list of where you can find them next week.
