At last month's shoot only four shooters braved the heatwave condition with strong winds and shot in a 80 target day with two events.

Event 1 - 80 Target event using six auto clay throwers set at various angles and speed.
Brian Drabsch and David Tanks 51 each, Jimmy Day 19 from 30 only and one shot for practice only.
Event 2 - 20 Target twin rise with one outwards and one inwards at the same time.
Only David Tanks shot this event with 17.
Our next shoot is at 1pm Saturday 19/12/20.
Parkes SSAA Smallbore
Last weekend saw nine shooters attend the Shooting Complex and shoot at buffalo targets at both 25m and 50m for a max of 520 points.

Our next shoot is at 10am Sunday 20/12/20 and will be ordinary targets at both ranges.
Parkes Railway Bowls
Last Saturday we sanded the bottom green with the help of a lot of volunteers. Thank you to them.
So as a result there wasn't many who turned up for Saturday social bowls.
Eight players did battle with Gene Rapp and Neil Riley winning 18+12.
Runners-up were Kevin Hynds and George Greenhalgh W17+4.
On Wednesday we had 12 players attend.
Kevin Hynds and Gene Rapp W21+15.
Runners-up were Graham Turner and John Niddrie W 17+12.
Margins were 12,14,15.
Marble 20 came out, so next week's jackpot will be $40.
Nominations are open for next year's championships.
Fours will close 17/1/21 and first round to be played by 31/1/21.
All others will close on 31/1/21.
Presentation day will be held early in January.
We are still waiting for the final of the triples to be played Dougie Miller!
Manildra will be coming up for pennants practice on 23/1/21.
We will be holding Australia Day bowls on 24/1/21 as Aussie day is on the Tuesday and we don't want to clash with the town.
Friday night raffles as usual with six hams and a turkey breast to be won, with 14 meat trays and Robyn's Nest Voucher.
Members draw $200 and the jackpot is $2500, as well as the Christmas hamper.
Get on down to the Railway Bowling Club and have a great time.
