Christmas/New Year break
The Parkes District Junior Cricket Association will now have a break over the Christmas and New Year period, with the competition to resume on February 6, 2021.
On behalf of the executives of the Condobolin, Forbes and Parkes associations, this is an opportune time to congratulate the teams from all three associations for playing and enjoying their cricket with such a high level of sportsmanship - players have been splendid representatives of their respective teams and towns.
There have been plenty of fine individual and team performances.
Special thanks are extended to all the volunteer coaches, managers, scorers and supporters. You have played a major role in ensuring young cricketers from Parkes, Forbes and Condobolin have had the opportunity to play the wonderful game of cricket.
Best wishes to all in the junior cricket community for a happy, holy and healthy holiday season.
- Many thanks to Greg Morrissey OAM for his assistance in filling out cricket reports in this edition
