However, this December we were once again able to have a regular meeting, with the usual "extras" that are organised for Christmas.
It worked out really well in many ways.
Of course, we had a great time finding out what events had happened to each and every one of us.
Another way that went really well were the various Christmas activities that took place, in order to raise money to sponsor our Smith Family Learning for Life school children.
And we all benefited with the items that were for sale at the Trading Table, like homemade slices! As per usual, my comment is "yummy"!
So, about 30 members were able to have a great two-course lunch at the Coachman Hotel.
We were able to chat with everyone, buy treats to take home, wish everyone in the room happy birthday (because most of us missed out in the chocolates passed around for birthdays), chat with everyone (oops, I already mentioned that!) and we had the opportunity to win lucky door prizes. I am sure that chatting was so good for all folks!
We will all come together next February on Tuesday, February 2 at the Coachman, for lunch, if everything goes back to "normal", as we all hope happens!
