Grace McGregor, who lead the try scoring for the Spacemen in this year's League Tag competition, heads a host of youngsters lacing up their boots to take part in the competition with Woodbridge.
Grace takes her place in the Woodbridge under 13 squad alongside Josie Heraghty, Kailen Butt, Malia Morrison, Neli Smith, Sarah Herford, Alan Folau, Joselyne Folau and Jemima Grosvenor.
The strong Parkes representation continues off the field in the under 13s with Troy Gosper appointed coach of the team and Samantha Gosper taking on the trainer duties.
Parkes is similarly well represented in the Woodbridge under 14 squad with seven girls, Aleah Fisher, Elizabeth McGregor, Georgie Rice, Isabelle Miller, Sophie Cronin, Tyra Morrison and Jazmen Terrill.
Three Parkes girls, Bridie Heraghty, Lily Heraghty and Macy Jane Morrison will line up with the under 16 squad with Troy Gosper appointed as a trainer.
There are no Parkes girls in the Woodbridge under 18 and open squad for the season opener in Grenfell this Sunday, October 11.
The competition is a regional event made up of six clubs from Bathurst/Lithgow (Panorama Platypi), Orange/Blayney (The Vipers), Dubbo (Wiradjuri Goannas), Mudgee/Gulgong (Midwest Brumbies), Castlereagh Cup teams like Gilgandra, Coonamble etc (The Cougars), and Woodbridge.
The Woodbridge teams comprise girls from Cowra, Grenfell, Canowindra, Manildra, Molong, Forbes, Condobolin, Eugowra, Cargo, Parkes, Young, Trundle, Lake Cargelligo, Boorowa.
The format for the season is that each club will play each other once during a five-week season with the top four teams in each age division going through to the Finals.
Semi finals will be played on the weekend of November 14 and 15 with the winners of these semi-finals progressing to the Grand Final to be held on Sunday, November 22.
