Term 4 ANZHotSHots will commence Monday October 12 for 8 weeks. Girls and Boys aged from 4yrs-14yrs come in groups of maximum of 4 for half hour each week. Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays 4pm-6.30pm. Cost is $100 which includes a racquet and t-shirt for all new registrations. Active Kids Vouchers are accepted. There will also be semi private(2 or 3) together, private half hour lessons. These are offered across all of the coaches on every day. There is also the opportunity to have lessons during lunch hours or sport time. Term 4 will also see a green ball development squad offered. This is an opportunity to further develop singles and doubles skills along with fitness and points play components. The Yellow ball squad is always popular with a good mix of team building, footwork, drills and match play. Squads will be Mondays only at this stage.
NIGHT COMPETITIONS
All competitions have now concluded for Term 3 with Ben Evans the clear winner in the men's Singles Challenge. Ben is looking relaxed and enjoying his tennis.
The ladies social doubles was much closer with the eventual winner being Amy Hart just a couple of points ahead of Lyndal Matthews.
Both the Singles Challenge and Ladies Social Doubles will recommence on Monday October 12th for 8 weeks. The Ladies starts at 6pm til about 7.30pm depending on how much chatting goes on and of course the length of rallies. 3 sets are played and players swap partners each week. The Singles Challenge starts at 6.30pm-8.30pm. Singles matches are best of 2 sets with a match deciding super-tiebreak if required. The Singles challenge results go onto the UTR system.
October 13th is the start date for the next Mixed night comp which will run through 8-9 weeks. 3 players in a team and each week players enjoy 1 set of singles and 2 sets of doubles. Teams can be a mix of any gender with Lines 1,2,3 in order of merit. This is also an enjoyable competition with players enjoying the exercise and socialisation as well as challenging themselves.
Costs for the competitions are as follows- Monday Ladies- $96 for the whole comp- payable either in full or on Weeks 1 and 5 via card at the Club. Monday Singles- $100 for the whole comp payable either in full or on Weeks 1 and 5 via card at the Club. Tuesday Mixed- $96(if 8 weeks) 96 for the whole comp- payable either in full or on Weeks 1 and 5 via card at the Club.
MEMBERSHIPS
