A woman will face court today charged with accessory to murder following the discovery of a body at a home at Parkes in May this year.

Investigators attached to the Central West Police District established Strike Force Makoro to investigate the circumstances surrounding the man's death.
About 4pm on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 police were called to a home in Best Street, Parkes after concerns were raised for the welfare of the occupant.
Officers found the body of the 74-year-old man inside the home and established a crime scene.
A 31-year-old man was arrested at a house in Best Street about 11pm the same day and was refused bail.
He will reappear at Parkes Local Court on Monday, September 21.
Following further investigations, a 37-year-old woman was arrested at 7.40am today (Wednesday, August 5, 2020) and taken to Parkes Police Station, charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
The woman was bail-refused to appear at Parkes Local Court today.
