The Western NSW Local Health District (LHD) has not had a coronavirus case for more than three months, since April 18, but virus clinics in the region are busy.

Across the Western LHD, 10,587 coronavirus tests have been conducted during the past four weeks, data from NSW Health shows.

The Dubbo Regional Council local government area leads the way when it comes to COVID-19 testing, with 2128 tests in a month.

This is closely followed by the Bathurst LGA at 2023 tests and Orange at 1881.

In the Mid-Western LGA there have been 1084 tests, with 841 in the Lithgow LGA, with 654 in the Hilltops LGA, 370 in Parkes and 190 in Forbes.

While the Cowra LGA may have recorded no COVID-19 cases to date, data shows that 408 people have been tested during the past month.

NSW Health has urged people to stay home and get tested for COVID-19 if you have any symptoms.

Symptoms include fever, cough, sore/scratchy throat, loss of smell, loss of taste and shortness of breath, as well as other reported symptoms including runny nose, joint pain, muscle pain, diarrhoea, nausea/vomiting and loss of appetite.
