The pool reopens to its members on Thursday, July 2, with measures surrounding COVID-19 in place.
President Dianne Decker said members would be able to use their keys to access the pool again.
The committee met on Wednesday to discuss the requirements around COVID-19 measures.
Members are asked to:
- Shower before swimming;
- Sign in at the COVID-19 entry book on the table inside the front door; and
- Observe social distancing rules as per the signage around the facility.
There is a limit of 10 people in the pool, four people in the foyer and two people in the change rooms.
Hand sanitiser will be available inside the door and swimmers are asked not to remove it.
The heated pool is typically used by 700 people a month and there are 300 children registered for learn-to-swim classes.
While the pool is currently open, it is currently awaiting renovations.
