Saturday was a sad day for the club as we remembered Charlie Allen, stalwart and past club champion, who passed away during the week.

Charlie had been associated with the club for well over 40 years.
He will be sorely missed around the club for his friendship and golfing prowess.
The majority of players wore black armbands to salute Charlie and his cart was placed on the first tee.
Once the club is opened for members again, we will no doubt raise a glass to Charlie.
Vale Charlie Allen.
Blake Parker proved what his form had been indicating for the past few weeks, he is back with a vengeance.
Hitting a fine 1 over par 72 off his 5 daily handicap, he will be a real challenger in the A grade competitions and club championship events if we get to play them.
He won by a clear two points in the stableford event from four players on 38 - John Boyle, playing out of the Tathra club, John Green, Robert Cheney and Anthony Lock.
It was good to see Rob Cheney hit a solid 83 after all the time he is putting in on the tractor getting the course into its great playing condition.
Anthony Lock is also benefiting from more regular play at PGC and his 82 reflected.
A very solid 79 men and 14 women contested this week's events.
Once again, the course proved a challenge since the noodles have gone down below surface level and the greens have started rolling a bit quicker.
There were only seven players in the 70s this week, eight players beating their stableford par score and five players equaling the 36 points.
There were 11 centurions this week.
Ball winners for the men were John Boyle 38, Rob Cheney 38, Anthony Lock 38, John Green 38, Peter Bristol 37, Chris Goodie 37, Brian Hogan Jnr 37, Rod Kiley 36, Rob Lea 36, Michael Thomas 36, Joe Van Opynen 36, Jack Murray 36, Ian Hendry 35, Grady Magill 35, Jake Hodge 34, Richard Hamilton 34 c/b.
Our lady golfers all fell well behind this week's winner in Chris Stait.
Chris fired a well compiled 90 off the stick which gave her a stableford score of 44 points.
Leone Stevenson was the runner up this week but was 10 points behind on 34 points.
A reminder whilst COVID restrictions are on, the competitions are open for extended times through the week to allow players to get their rounds in with less course congestion.
We are expecting some lifting of restrictions but will await State Government and Golf Australia/Golf NSW advisories before moving forward.
