
A man has been charged following an investigation into an alleged act of animal cruelty and firearm offences in the state's Central West.

Officers attached to Central Police District commenced an investigation into reports of a man allegedly kicking and stomping on an injured fox on an unknown property in March this year.
It will also be alleged that the man fired a firearm during a domestic dispute at a home in Young Street, Forbes in 2015.
About 11.55am on Tuesday (28 April 2020), officers arrested a 29-year-old man at Forbes Police Station.
He was charged with commit an act of aggravated cruelty upon an animal, fire firearm in or near public place, possess loaded firearm endanger life non-public place, stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm and possess unauthorised firearm.
He was given conditional bail to appear at Forbes Local Court on Thursday (4 June 2020).
