Veteran's Golf
Veterans golf competitions in Parkes and Forbes have been cancelled until further notice. This decision came about following Monday's decision by the Federal Government to close licensed clubs as well as the general well being of all golfers being a priority.
As well as the twin-town competition, the monthly Lachlan Valley 18 holes competitions are also suspended, while the 2020 Forbes Veterans Golf week is also a casualty.
Social Golf
Sunday we played a Stableford event and the winner was Phil Wennerbom 41 points, runner up Richard Hamilton 40 points, Lyn "Chook" Davison 38 points, some hot scoring.
NTP Ladies fourth Dawn Phipps, 11th Lyn Davison. Men's NTP fourth Mick Smith, 11th Rob Hay, 15th Rob Hay, sixth Ian Phipps, raffle Dawn Phipps. Next week we are playing our Monthly Award. As club will be closed, presentation will have to be outside after golf. Stay Safe.
