The Bayliss brothers, Zac and Harry, teamed with skipper Myles Smith to ensure the century-old Cup will enjoy pride of place in Parkes over the winter recess for the second successive year.
Batting at number three, Zac remained unbeaten on 61 with three sixes, combining with Smith (62) in a second wicket stand that enabled Parkes to score a convincing six-wicket win over traditional rivals Forbes in the final challenge of season number 101.
Earlier his talented younger brother Harry again took the bowling honours, snaring 5/42 to complement his 6/29 against Forbes in the centenary game in November.
The match was transferred because of rain to the Harrison Park synthetic surface.
Parkes captain, Myles Smith was delighted with this team's performance on Sunday.
"It was another very pleasing victory today against a quality Forbes outfit and to retain the Grinsted Cup for the entire 2019/20 season is a great team achievement," he said.
"I appreciate the commitment and hard work shown by all players throughout the season and we are now looking forward to the representative 2020/21 season."
The match provided a fitting conclusion to the centenary season after three successive forfeits earlier in the year threatened to derail the importance of the milestone.
Match scores: Forbes 9/147 (J Nicholson 25, M Bayley 27, S Robbins 30, Bayliss 5/42 from 13 overs, B Tucker 2/26) in 50 overs lost to Parkes 4/151 in 43 overs (M Smith 62, Z Bayliss 61).
The exhibition Grinsted Cup match, which was initially scheduled during the centenary celebration in February but was cancelled due to the rain, will be played on Sunday, March 15 at 10am in Forbes.
This match will see the eastern teams of the Grinsted Cup region take on the western teams.
This exhibition match is sure to be closely contested with both sides consisting of talented representative players from around the region.
