Central West Merino Ewe competition co-organiser, Russell Jones of Dariwell stud, Trundle, said it was fitting for the fixture's 21st year to celebrate Merinos and wool after viewing the best two flocks of Trundle's Ted Little, Condobolin's Don Brown and Parkes' Doug Bicket memorial contests.

The tour begins at Parkes from 6.30am at Hotel Gracelands or 7.30am at the Trundle Hotel. Bookings can be made to Dominique Nixon 0428 642 415.
The Central West Wool Growers Dinner will be held at Hotel Gracelands IKON Restaurant from 6.30pm.
The cost is $40 per person.
