The business was purchased by the Rowney Family and over many months the family and local tradesmen have transformed the building into a modern, tastefully renovated hotel.
With accommodation on the rise within Parkes, the family saw a business opportunity to get the 20 rooms ready prior to the 2020 Elvis festival.
All rooms are fully renovated, freshly painted, new carpet, new beds and linen, equip with air conditioning, Smart TV and free WIFI, and Tea & Coffee facilities.
Downstairs the sports bar, lounge and restaurant have also been completely renovated.
The hotel is equipped with the lasted technology, TV's and sound equipment, and also has a new function room for meetings or private parties seating 30 people.
The hotel is able to provide catering options to suit each type of event from sandwiches, scones and slices to a 3 course dinner
Joining the family in the restaurant is locally owned business 'Burger Hub', owned and operated by Chief Jason McGuire and his wife Sophie.
Since moving their business to the Broadway they have seen a great increase in trade from their previous shop and are now catering for functions, and private parties.
Recently the Parkes Shire councillors had they monthly dinner in the upstairs function room.
The councillors were very impressed with the food (which was selected from a special function menu), table service and the friendly personalised service that they received during their visit.
Burger Hub will be releasing their new menu this month, which will include not only burgers but a range of main meals.
The new owners and in conjunction with the Parkes Leagues Club have purchased a courtesy bus.
The bus is available Thursday, Friday and Saturday night and is the perfect option when organising your PLAN B
The Rowney Family have become great friends with Elvis Tribute Artist Damian Mullins over the past 10 years, and were honoured when he accepted the offer during the festival to officially open the hotel with members of the Rowney family and staff.
You can find out whats coming up at the Broadway on the hotel's Facebook page.
