Heavy rainfall across the Cowra and Canowindra region has caused minor flooding over the past week and rain above Wyangala has seen the dam's level rise above 11 per cent.

At the time of writing, Wyangala Dam was sitting at 11.5 per cent according to WaterNSW, up from nine per cent on Tuesday.
The Belubula River at Canowindra peaked at just under 4 metres late Tuesday night after storm activity.
Cowra only received just 3.8mm on Tuesday, but a high rain rate of 137.2mm/hr was recorded at 5pm on the same day at the Pearce Weather station between Cowra and Canowindra.
The deluge resulted in a number of road closures, including Cherry Tree Falls Bridge to the east of Canowindra and George Russell Drive between Canowindra and Woodstock.
Access was also reduced between Canowindra and Gooloogong, and between Eugowra and Forbes. While there were a number of road closures in the Parkes Shire's west, including Middle Trundle Road and The Bogan Way.
The rainfall caused widespread damage to paddocks and fences between Cowra and Canowindra, with SES crews from both towns called to clear up the roads.
The Canowindra SES crew were also tasked with monitoring a mob of sheep stuck in a flash flood on George Russell Drive.
