Not only have they read 1131 books, but they've also embarked on a trip around the entire country.
Library Officer Debbie Gould said the aim of the club is to get children reading over the summer months while they are on school holidays.
"The children read all of those books in 52 days!" she said.
"When the children hand in their reading records - there are 10 books on a record - they are able to move the library car to a new destination on our map of Australia.
"The route around the country includes 52 interesting places that they may not necessarily know about.
"For example there is a town in outback Queensland named Banana. It was named after a yellowish coloured bullock who helped the local stockmen herd wild cattle into holding yards in the 1960s."
The children were invited to Parkes Shire Library to be presented with a certificate for their participation and to witness the drawing of the competition for a Samsung Galaxy Tab A tablet, into which they all had an entry.
The lucky winner was Cooper Bland.
Thirty six Parkes children returned reading records to the library with a total of 941 books read; two Peak Hill children returned their records, reading 90 books between them; while six Trundle kids had 100 books combined on their records.
"It's been a fantastic effort and the children have really enjoyed reading about a new town each time they returned a record," Debbie said.
