The Forbes Hospital welcomed the arrival of two babies born within the first few days of 2020, both are from Parkes and both born a day apart.
Introducing Elliarna Isobel McCrae, born on January 3, and Marshall Nathaniel Jones, January 4.
Elliarna Isobel McCrae
Daryia Merlino and Joel McCrae of Parkes are delighted to announce the arrival of their first daughter.
Elliarna Isobel was born on January 3 at Forbes Hospital, weighing seven pounds nine ounces, or 3.58kg.
Celebrating with them were grandparents Caroline McCrae, Michael McCrae, and Elliarna's aunty Isobel and uncle Steve.
Marshall Nathaniel Jones
Shannon and Anita Jones of Parkes welcomed a baby boy to their family on January 4.
Marshall Nathaniel is a second son for the local couple and was born at the Forbes Hospital, weighing six pounds 11 ounces, or 3.06kg.
He's a brother for Milton, and a grandson for Ed and Barbara Orr of Parkes; Sue Gowans of Eugowra and Brett Jones of Orange.

While our hospital visits have been temporarily put on hold due to no birthing services in Parkes, we are still publishing our birth announcements in the newspaper.
If you'd like to announce the birth of your newborn in the Parkes Champion Post, simply email the following details to barbara.reeves@parkeschampionpost.com.au, call 6862 2322 or pop into our office to fill out the form:
- Babies full name
- Gender
- Birth date and time
- Birth location
- Birth weight and length
- Parents' names and home town
- Siblings, including ages
- Grandparents' names and home towns (optional: you can also include what number grandchild your little one is).
- A contact number just in case.
