THE Blue Suede Express and Elvis Express trains rolled into Parkes on Thursday afternoon packed with Elvis fans from all over the country, even the world.
The arrival of the trains is highly anticipated by those already in Parkes and festivalgoers line the platforms singing and dancing as they wait for the trains to arrive.
This year both trains took a different route to arrival in Parkes due to widespread bushfire damage to railway infrastructure in the Blue Mountains.
A group of eight people from Melbourne were aboard the Blue Suede Express and had nothing but praise for the staff and fun times had.
"The bar opened with a pop of a cork and off it went," traveller Cathie Schmidt said of their trip.
