Two Parkes primary schools - Holy Family Catholic and Middleton Public - took part in a nation-wide simultaneous dance movement with the hopes of dancing up a drought-ending storm.
It was called #BustTheDust that officially took place at 1pm on December 13 and was the brainchild of a class of Year 5/6 students at St John's Parish School in Trangie.
More than 600 schools registered in the rain dance and dozens of them came from across the Central West.
Red Bend Catholic College did their rain dance a week prior because classes finished up before the official dance day, while Middleton Public joined the movement on December 12, uploading their video on social media at 1pm December 13.
Holy Family Primary School took part in #BustTheDust on the day on the school's basketball and sporting courts.
Here is some of the action.
