Your skull and spine are the protective suit of armour for your nervous system and your postural and structural alignment has been shown in many studies to significantly affect your health in many ways. Negative effects include migraines, chronic pain, joint stiffness, slouched posture, decreased mobility, permanent joint and bone deformities, respiratory issues and sciatica.
Chiropractic care can provide relief and assist you with aching joints or muscle pain and can also help maintain healthy spine and joint function. As primary contact practitioners, chiropractors focus on treating the spine to treat health conditions related to the bones, muscles and joints.
Chiropractic Life has been around for half a decade after opening Dr Adam McKenzie opened the first practice in the Northern Territory in 2015. Since then Chiropractic Life has continued to grow and support rural and regional communities of Australia with practices in Cowra, Canowindra and Grenfell. Dr McKenzie said the teams were heavily involved in the communities they practice in.
"Our passion comes from truly wanting to see our practice members live full of L.I.F.E. and help them achieve optimal function and performance," he said. "We have local sponsorship programs available for sporting clubs and support for community organisations, and we also regularly offer free spinal health checks and business health talks where our doctors go out into the community to speak to locals about their structural function and wellness".
Chiropractic Life offers contemporary chiropractic health care focused on your body's master control system; your nervous system. Using state of the art digital x-rays, motion studies and other techniques, they provide world leading health and wellness tools currently used by high performing athletes and business professionals across the globe.
Dr McKenzie said that the future of Chiropractic Life was to bring quality chiropractic care to more under-serviced communities in an effort to make natural health care options available for all Australians. "Chiropractic Life is a family focused practice where all can feel welcome and belong. We provide the tools and support to help our practice members achieve their health and wellness goals," he said. "We are excited to announce that services coming soon to Forbes and Parkes include an iFloat Tank (sensory deprivation therapy), red-light therapy and an infrared sauna".
Chiropractic Life also have a strong community support structure with their Graduate Program in suitable locations. In the last three years this program has provided more than 8,000 adjustments and $500,000 worth of Chiropractic care to those most in need and who normally wouldn't be able to afford the care required.
On Wednesday, December 18 at 7pm, Chiropractic Life will be hosting a Health and Wellness workshop at 39A South Gloucester Road, Forbes and Dr McKenzie said the Forbes and Parkes communities were encouraged to attend. "Everyone is welcome to come on down and learn how your nervous system affects your health. There will be complimentary drinks and nibbles provided, however there are limited seats available so please call to secure your spot".
There will also be the chance to receive free family chiropractic care for the next 12 months if you can stump Dr McKenzie and name something within the human body (that is naturally there) which isn't under direct or indirect control or influence of the nervous system.
