Batting first Cowra Bowling Club received a solid start from openers Ross Graham and Mikey McNamara. Ben Colby and Michael Curtale continued to bat responsibly before Michael Curtale produced a series of fine stokes to top score with 67.
Young Colts off-spinner Ryan Dunn took 3 valuable wickets off his 5 overs.
Chris Day batted attractively to score 30 runs before Myles Smith blunted Bowling Club's run rate in a fine spell to take 3/40 off 10 overs. In reply, Peter Yelland and Paul Dunford soon scored quick runs to have 36 runs on the board after only 6 overs.
Paul Dunford continued to crunch a series of powerful cover drives and pull strokes to bludgeon the Bowling Club attack as he was joined by Myles Smith to put on 115 runs for the 3rd wicket before Paul was dismissed for 95 with only a few runs to get to give Colts victory.
Myles Smith (55no) again displayed why he is one of the leading players in Western Zone Country Cricket.
Parkes Raptors too strong for Parkes Cats
At Spicer Oval:
Parkes Raptors recorded a victory over Parkes Cats at Spicer Oval. Aaron Halls played a significant role for his Raptors team with an inspiring spell of bowling and followed by a blistering performance with the bat.
Aaron top scored with 69 runs and lead his side to a 5 wicket victory.

Parkes Hotel Galahs record convincing victory over Star Hotel
At Harrison Field:
Star Hotel 6/191 in 30 overs (Matt Hetherington 111no, Dane Thorne 38, Luke Greenwood 24, Tim Allen 2/27 off 6 & Jayden Capple 2/44 off 6) lost to Parkes Hotel Galahs 1/192 off 22 overs (Tim Allen 78no, Nic Parker 43, Joe Van Opynen 48no). Parkes Hotel Galahs defeated Star Hotel by 9 wickets.
In a high scoring match Matt Hetherington (111no off 93 balls) played an outstanding innings to give Star Hotel a quite sizeable total to defend. Dane Thorne with 38 and Luke Greenwood with 24 both scored very useful runs for Star.
In reply, the Galahs batsmen played very well to chase down the total, only losing Nic Parker's wicket for 43 runs.
Tim Allen (78no) and Joe Van Opynen (48no) demonstrated plenty of skill to lead the Galahs to a convincing victory.
Reedy Creek in top form over Honey Badgers
At Northparkes Oval:
Honey Badgers 103 in 23.2 overs (Aaron Thorne 61, Ben Cooper 2/34 off 6, Grant Dunn 3/17 off 6, Craig Chapple 4/16 off 5.2) lost to Reedy Creek 1/104 in 15.3 overs (Stuart Milne 71no, Lindsay Hughes 20no & Chris Orr 1/18 off 3).
Reedy Creek defeated Honey Badgers by 9 wickets.
Reedy Creek turned in a dominate all round performance to score a big win over the Honey Badgers.
Aaron Thorne in scoring 61 runs off 75 balls played a fine innings for the Badgers as wickets fell regularly around him.
Craig Chapple (4/16) and Grant Dun (3/17) proved they are continuing to be seasoned performers with the ball for Reedy Creek.
Stuart Mile (71no off 51 balls) demonstrated his fine batting skills as he was joined by Lindsay Hughes (20no) to guide Reedy Creek to a most emphatic victory.
Commercial Dilligafs defeat Bowling Club by 39 runs
Commercial Dilligafs 142 off 23.3 overs (Michael McGrath 44no, Brett Hutchings 31, Steve McGrath 27, Toby Tanks 19, Garry Dukes Rankmore 2/32 off 5, Dylan Manks 2/22 off 3, Jake Brown 3/5 off 4 & Luke Swindle 1/9 off 2.3 overs) defeated Bowling Club 103 in 22 overs (Luke Swindle 27, Dylan Manks 14, R Lennox 14, Jake Brown 11, Shaun Bateson 4/10 off 6, Tom Bateson 2/9 off 5 & Steve McGrath 2/20 off 3.5 overs). Commercial Dilligafs defeated Bowling Club by 39 runs.
The Dilligafs score of 142 runs was boosted by the father and son McGrath combination and a quick-fire 31 by Brett Hutchings.
Jake Brown turned in a stunning bowling effort for Bowling Club as he took 3/5 off 4 overs. In reply, the Bateson's (Shaun with 4/10 & Tom 2/9) were in great form as they caused plenty of problems for the Bowling Club line-up.
Luke Swindle (27 with 2 fours and 2 sixes) boosted Bowling Club's score.
