Representative Cricket
Lachlan Cricket Council under 14 Competition
Dubbo White 10/133 in 40 overs (Riley Keen 63, Aydan Hunt 19, Paddy Cant 12, Lochie George 10, Harry Jones 2/16 off eight overs, Liam Freeman 2/14 off four overs, Harry Kennedy 2/15 off two overs, Maddy Spence 1/14 off eight overs) defeated Parkes 10/118 in 39.4 overs (Liam Moody 37, Geordie Duncan 19, Harry Jones 15, Jack Milne 12, Richard Gaut 10, Kane Mac Farlane 3/20 off eight overs, Aydan Hunt 2/24 off eight overs, Nate Bayliss 2/11 off 3.4 overs, Paddy Cant 1/14 off eight overs, Lochie George 1/9 off four overs) Dubbo White won by 15 runs.
In a closely contested match Dubbo White eventually won by 15 runs. Riley Keen formerly of Condobolin but now playing in Dubbo proved to be a stumbling block for the Parkes team as he scored 63 runs to give Dubbo White a solid score of 133 after their allocated 40 overs.
Riley had to survive a close umpiring decision early in his innings. Tight bowling by Parkes players Harry Jones and Maddy Spence made runs hard to come by. Liam Freeman and Harry Kennedy both took 2 wickets apiece to help dismiss Dubbo White.
In reply Geordie Duncan quickly rattled up a brisk 19 runs to give Parkes a good start. Liam Moody top scored with a determined and skilful 37 runs while Harry Jones (15), Jack Milne (12) and Richard Gaut (10) played useful innings. Accurate bowling by Dubbo White players helped their team to a 15 run victory.
The next LCC game for Parkes under 14s is at Condobolin on February 2, 2020 where Parkes will play the combined Condobolin/West Wyalong team.
Lachlan Cricket Council under 12 Competition

Game one
Dubbo White 4/115 in 20 overs (Oliver Orth 39, Chris Quinn 15, Max McPherson 11 n.o, Austin Hunt 11 n.o, Harry Yelland 3/20 off four overs, Thomas Ball 1/22 off three overs, Ewan Moody 0/12 off four overs, Sam Rayner 0/3 off 1 over) defeated Parkes 9/97 in 20 overs (Ewan Moody 59 n.o, Thomas Ball 8, Austin Hunt 3/14 off three overs, Lachlan O'Connor 2/16 off three overs, Rupert Mason 1/3 off 1 over, Archer Mason 1/9 off 2 overs, Jordan Ryan 0/8 off 3 overs). Dubbo White won by 18 runs.
The morning game saw Dubbo White bat first with Oliver Orth batting very well to score 39 runs. Harry Yelland turned in a fine spell of leg spin bowling to capture 3/20 including two very smart caught and bowled efforts. Thomas Ball with 1/22 took a key wicket.
In reply Parkes lost some early wickets before Ewan Moody batted very well to score a splendid 59 n.o with 6 well struck boundaries. Thomas Ball assisted Ewan to add 37 runs for the 8th wicket. Dubbo Whites Austin Hunt developed good pace as he took 3/14 off 3 overs to lead his team to an 18 run victory.
Game two
Parkes 4/111 in 20 overs (Harry Yelland 24, Sam Rayner 18, Thomas Ball 17 n.o, Boyd Hutchins 9, Ewan Moody 9,Kade Ticehurst 7 n.o, Will Dimmick 1/4 off 3 overs, Bede Clout 1/17 off four overs, Nathaniel Robinson 1/14 off three overs) defeated Wellington 3/109 in 20 overs (Nathaniel Robinson 34, Will Dimmick 26 n.o, W Horton 8, Oscar Mason 7, Charlie Kiss 6 n.o, Boyd Hutchins 1/3 off three overs, Eamon Moody 1/3 off two overs, Thomas Ball 1/6 off 1 over, Harry Yelland 0/15 off four overs). Parkes won by two runs.
The afternoon game was a real thriller as Parkes scraped home by just two runs as a gallant Wellington team tried to chase down the Parkes score of 4/111.
Harry Yelland (24 with 3 fours) and Sam Rayner (18 with 3 fours) gave Parkes a good start to their innings before Thomas Ball (17 n.o) and Kade Ticehurst (7 n.o) added quick runs in the last two overs of the Parkes innings.
Wellingtons Nathaniel Robinson struck the ball powerfully to score 34 with seven fours to give his team a top start. Parkes pocket rocket bowler Boyd Hutchins did very well to dismiss Nathaniel. This proved to be a turning point in the game.
Will Dimmick (26 n.o) did his best to score necessary runs for Wellington.
The Parkes bowlers held fast as they eliminated the wides and no balls, this eventually helped Parkes gain a narrow 2 run victory in a very closely contested match that was played in good spirit by both teams.
The next U/12 Lachlan games will be played on Sunday 02/02/20 with another 2 T/20 matches in Parkes when Parkes will play Dubbo Blue (morning) and Dubbo White (afternoon).
